Bear Fire Diner
Bear Fire is a concept diner my best friend and I used to always think about back in high school. It serves tasty meals served in large portions and with different seasoning twists. The diner is most known for their signature chili pepper burger line!
The brand’s goal is to provide a fun, nostalgic, and family-friendly environment with flavorful meals. To do this, the identity follows a cute, welcoming bear mascot named Charold (Charles + Harold, as well as a play on the word “char”). Accompanying him are playful but sturdy typography to evoke friendliness to all ages as well as the brand’s reliability. The brand is also heavy with illustrations and icons to cater to children while at the same time, to pay an homage to food ads in the 60s-80s.
All the brand colors used below signify varieties of spices. The warm colors also double as the color of fire!
